P&N Bank is thrilled to announce a new program partnership with local not-for-profit Vinnies WA that will assist P&N customers and the WA community who need help with their money management to build towards the financial future they want to achieve.
Vinnies WA is a highly respected local not-for-profit that works at the forefront of assisting Western Australians in their time of need, via emergency assistance, financial counselling, homelessness services and other community support. Vinnies WA plays a key role in providing the diverse WA community access to wide-ranging inclusive support.
P&N Bank’s Vinnies WA program partnership will include the following:
- Access to an exclusive Vinnies WA financial coaching service for P&N Bank customers who are heading into or recovering from financial difficulty and those who want to improve their money management skills.
- Free and confidential one-on-one consultations with a qualified financial capability worker through the Vinnies WA Financial Coaching service.
- Group financial education workshops for P&N customers, including mental health content delivered by Lifeline WA (four workshops per year).
- The ability for Vinnies WA to enhance its Financial Counselling service to assist more Western Australian community members in financial crisis.

Vinnies WA Executive Manager, Community Engagement Services, Andrew York said: “The rising cost of living is placing immense pressure on WA families struggling to make ends meet. In our Emergency Assistance and Support program and our Financial Counselling services, we are seeing an increase in demand, with up to 350 calls a day for emergency assistance from across WA.”
“Equipping vulnerable people with the skills to manage these financial pressures is one of Vinnies’ most critical tasks.”

The Vinnies WA Financial Coaching service is most suited to P&N Bank customers who are:
- Having difficulty paying for essential items such as food, rent, utilities and school fees.
- In arrears on rental payments or have utility debts.
- Heading into or recovering from financial difficulty.
- Wanting to improve their money management skills or work through their budget.
