P&N Bank customers can nominate people in need or eligible not-for-profit organisations for consideration for funding support via the P&N Bank Empowerment Grants. The program is made up of two streams:

Ready to nominate?
Formerly known as Helping &nds, this program helps empower individuals, couples and families who are in financial crisis or have basic needs that are not being met.
Nominees may be facing challenges, such as:
- Domestic and family violence
- Unexpected medical expenses after an illness diagnosis or accident
- Poverty and homelessness
- Facing financial disadvantage due to physical or mental health issues
P&N Bank customers can nominate someone for financial assistance at any time of the year.
The person you nominate does not need to bank with us.

- Diversity, equity and inclusion (e.g. gender equity, cultural equity, reconciliation, LGBTQIA+ support)
- Disability and accessibility
- Mental health
- Poverty and homelessness
- Domestic and family violence
Through our bi-annual funding rounds we assist WA not-for-profits doing great work empowering West Australians. Over the year, $60,000 in funding is available. P&N Bank customers are able to vote for shortlisted not-for-profits. Tallied votes will determine the funding the organisations will receive.

What you need to know
Anyone who has been a P&N Bank customer for a minimum of six months can nominate in both categories.
The person or not-for-profit organisation you nominate does not have to be a customer of P&N Bank.
Applications for Empowering People will be assessed by P&N Bank within four weeks.
Applications for Empowering Communities (not-for-profits) will be assessed by P&N Bank for consideration for the program’s bi-annual funding rounds, with short-listed organisations available for customers to vote on via the P&N Bank website.
