If you need funds from the deceased's account to pay for funeral expenses, please bring a tax invoice from the funeral home to your local branch. Our staff will arrange to make the payment to the funeral directors.
We can't make payments from overdrafts, credit cards, lines of credit, or redraw facilities held in the deceased’s sole name.
If there are not enough funds to cover the full amount, we will close the membership and accounts and pay the balance as a part payment.
You cannot pay for expenses such as flowers, the wake, headstone, and memorials from the deceased's accounts.
