A Grant of Probate is an order issued by the Supreme Court of WA that provides authority to an executor(s) to deal with the deceased person’s estate.
A Grant of Probate confirms the information is correct and the document is the true Last Will and Testament of the deceased. It protects the deceased member's assets and gives permission to the executor(s) to get the information they need to administer the estate.
P&N Bank only needs a Grant of Probate to finalise the deceased estate when the value of their assets held at P&N Bank is higher than $50,000.
