A company is a legal entity, made up of shareholders who operate a business. P&N Bank deal with Proprietary Companies, known as Pty Ltd (Proprietary Limited). These shares may be beneficially held by individuals, directors, or by trusts. The shareholders are referred to as the beneficial owners.
To set up a membership and accounts for your company, you will need to provide original or original certified copies of the following documents. Find out who can certify a document.
- Company extract issued by ASIC, dated within last 30 days.
- Identification documents - beneficial owners and any directors requiring access to the accounts will need to attend a branch with the required documents and primary photo identification or return certified copies to PO Box 8609, Perth BC 6849.
- Complete and sign a non personal membership application form and finalise your membership.

Is the beneficial owner of your company a trust?
If so, you'll also need to provide:
- a full copy of the signed and executed trust deed,
- all trustees and/or appointors will need to attend a branch with primary photo identification.
- a share certificate demonstrating the trust is a shareholder of your company.
Is your company operating a registered business?
If so, you'll also need to provide:
- Business extract issued by ASIC dated within last 30 days.
