Due to an Australia-wide update to the eftpos payment system, a small number of P&N Bank digital Visa Debit cards saved in digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay) have been identified with an eftpos token expiry date of 31 December 2024. This means impacted customers may be unable to make eftpos payments using the debit card in their digital wallet from 1 January 2025.
Physical Visa Debit card will not be impacted by the update and can continue to be used as normal.

FAQs
What happens if I don’t update my digital debit card before 1 January?
Impacted customers may not be able to make purchases using their Visa Debit card in their digital wallet from 1 January. You can continue to use your physical Visa Debit card to make purchases.
Can I use the Visa network instead of the eftpos network from 1 January?
While Visa Debit card transactions are usually processed through the Visa Network, some merchants choose to use the eftpos system. We encourage you to remove and re-add your Visa Debit card to your digital wallet prior to 1 January.
